Girls Soccer: All Main Line Teams

The following Central League players were named to the All Main Line Teams.

FIRST TEAM

Paige Kozlowski, Conestoga — Senior defender/midfielder and second-year captain, the Central League’s Most Valuable Player and all-state selection was the Pioneers’ MVP for the second year in a row. Noted for her great touch, fine vision and high soccer IQ, the University of Massachusetts-bound senior dished out 10 assists in 22 games.

Grace Edgarton, Conestoga — Senior midfielder and second-year captain, a first team All-Central selection was the Pioneers’ offensive MVP for the second year in a row, scoring 10 goals and dishing out 10 assists in 22 games. Considered a complete player with strength, size, power and finesse, she will play for Emory University.

Maggie Stetson, Conestoga — Senior defender and captain, an All-Central selection, was the Pioneers’ defensive MVP. Considered an excellent athlete who possesses great size and strength, she is noted for her excellence out of the air. Will play lacrosse for Drexel University.

Olivia Butera, Haverford High — Senior center mid/forward, a first team All-Central League and All-Delco selection, scored 14 goals for the Fords, including five two-goal games, all of which Haverford won. Was valued for her ability to control the midfield, and for her speed and excellence at attack (she also had four assists).

Tori Klevan, Lower Merion — Senior forward, a first team All-Central League selection for the second year, is considered an outstanding 1v1 player, scoring 25 goals in 17 games. Noted for her work ethic and ability to make everyone around her a better player. Her 25 goals were the second-highest in program history. Will play soccer for the University of Pennsylvania next fall.

 

SECOND TEAM

Conestoga — Alice Regan, junior midfielder; Aly Maneri, senior goalie.

Harriton — Claire Coyle, junior goalie; Annika Iyer, senior defender/midfielder.

Haverford High — Kayla Blair, senior defender; Jess Lyons, senior midfielder/forward.

Lower Merion — Marissa Shander, senior midfielder; Adina Harris, senior defender.

 

HONORABLE MENTION

Conestoga — Kaitlyn Perz, sophomore forward; Sammy Silverstein, junior forward; Hannah Morgan, freshman defender.

Harriton — Sarah dePillis, senior defender; Samantha Bigham, junior forward; Morgan Rees, freshman midfielder; Maya Cohen, sophomore midfielder.

Haverford High — Hannah Dodds, junior defender.

Lower Merion — Abby Ritterband, junior defender; Louisa Ebby, junior defender; Paige Johnson, senior midfielder.
